Users review: Like most of the guys I have not seen this film on my own, or male friends. But my friend was in town and I thought it would be a great romantic comedy movie for us to watch together.I heard reference to 11/09 and the beginning of the film was scared by that part down. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the reference was very small and not very cringe worthy either so I'm not sure why some people are annoyed by it in connection with the film as you much.As general I love and enjoy will definitely recommend it as the perfect date movie. Many of the comments here disparaged the movie because they thought it was too slippery and very unrealistic about love. But I think you have to accept that the film is made to make people laugh and bring a spirit of love for the Christmas holiday period. If you look at it in the context of the film, it does its job perfectly well.However the best moment of the movie for me was the press conference (side by side), the American president and the British prime minister. I actually felt like standing and cheering when Hugh Grant (as prime minister) Finally, the U.S. president spoke in front of your face and the world's press that Britain is no longer honoring the U.S. wishes but is independent of your mind. Given that America is the biggest market for movies, it was a very brave Richard Curtis to write this scene, and he deserves a lot of credit for the portrayal of the U.S. president, rather than the ice and under a `special relationship really is. If Richard Curtis made a film has to know okay, but not great in the United States. But it is clear here in the UK, and Im sure the rest of the world very well too.So Bravo Richard Curtis in their school leaders, you are a hero! |
